Last week our 6-10 year-olds were able to take a field trip to the San Marcos Public Library. The kids were able to get a tour of the library. During the tour the kids also learned how to search for books in the library data system. Kids were able to find books on some of their favorite topics. Some searched for how to build Lego models, others found some of their favorite books that they read during the school year, while others searched for Spider-man books. The librarian gave us library card applications to send home with the kids. Kids were excited to get their cards for future visits.
